Heel Wheels
Heel Wheels – a super cool option for getting around! Wear your normal sturdy shoes. Strap on the heel wheels. And get going! Choose from manual operation or electric motorised heel wheels for even more fun! The greatest thing about Heel Wheels is that you can just take off the wheels and walk around in your normal shoe whenever you want. Heel Wheels are great for both boys and girls (and adults)!
The two main types of Heel Wheels are manual operation and motorised electric.
Manual operation heel wheels make walking around into driving fun. Quickly and easily strap the heel wheels onto your normal sturdy shoes, and your child’s exciting journey begins. Perfect for riding to school because the heel wheels slide off easily when they arrive and easily fit into a backpack or locker.
Rollers are equipped with ball bearings and various colours of LEDs. Choose from blue, pink or multi-coloured flashing lights! Manual operation heel wheels are adjustable with the power strap. So they have a snug, secure fit from junior US shoe size 12 to adult size 12.
Have even more fun with the electric, motorised heel wheels! Just start rolling along, and the electric-powered heel wheels start up the motor with an 80-watt geared-driven boost for any pair of sturdy sneakers. Working without a remote, the electric motorised heel wheels use a pressure-sensitive system for power control. So your child rides comfortably for up to 30 minutes of continuous use, reaching up to 10 mph (16 km/h). Put on these super performing heel wheels with just a step into the heavy-duty polymer “quick click” frame. Then tighten the hook-and-loop strap for a nice, secure fit for US shoe sizes junior 12 to adult size 12. Plus, be sure to check out the Jetts mini model, which is small in size, but just as big on fun!
Learning how to use Heel Wheels
Learning how to use Heel Wheels is like learning how to ride a bike. It is more challenging at first, but once you get your balance, you never forget. When you start learning how to ride a bike, one of the best tools is training wheels. Gradually, you learn how to balance on the bike and eventually, you do it without the training wheels.
Learning how to use Heel Wheels works just like that. Once you catch your balance, the rest pretty much comes naturally. And you can use almost anything to help you balance. Just make sure you have something sturdy to hang onto. A rail, counter, shopping cart, pram or a helpful friend or parent.
Beyond that, it’s about where to place your feet. When we walk, we move our feet beside each other. For Heel Wheeling, you place one foot directly in front of the other. Have your child start with their stronger leg and hold on to you (or something else) for balance. Then, they lift up their toes to put weight on their heels where the wheels are. Smooth surfaces are ideal for Heel Wheels, but always wear protective gear!
